Model Highlights
Buick's 2007 Terraza CX starts at $26,660 and has goodies like StabiliTrak, traction control, heated power exterior mirrors, plus a CD player that reads MP3 files. If that's not enough toys, move up to the $28,000 Terraza CX Plus, which adds power sliding doors, automatic level control, a power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, an overhead rail system, and a DVD-based entertainment system. The top-of-the-line CXL is equipped with aluminum wheels, roof rails, leather power front seats with memory, rear air conditioning, a universal home remote, side air bags, and a number of enhanced storage features. All Terrazas are equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts quite smoothly, and front-wheel drive. Acceleration is good, and the braking, thanks to four-wheel discs, is exceptional. The formerly optional 3.9L V6 engine replaces the 3.5L V6 that has been available since the Terraza's 2005 debut. In addition to gasoline, the Terraza can operate on FlexFuel for 2007. The interior of the Terraza is terrifically done, with handsome instrumentation and controls. The ride is extremely quite, and very smooth. A remote vehicle starter is one of the nicer available options. It is joined by XM radio, a six-disc CD changer, chrome wheels, rear parking assist, and navigation. A trailering package can be added as well, which allows the Terraza to haul 3,500 pounds. The CXL can order a mobile digital media player by PhatNoise, which includes a 40-gigabyte hard drive that can store digital music, audio books, movies, and games.
